Newspaper Clippings:
This regional only service is our
traditional newspaper clipping service where Magnolia would mail articles to you
every Thursday through regular First Class Mail. You will be billed at the end
of each month. Articles can be clipped from daily, weekly, monthly, and
quarterly publications including newspapers, magazines,business journals, etc.
Broadcast Monitoring
Broadcast Monitoring:
Via e-mail the client, and authorized representatives will receive
notification when their keywords are mentioned in the broadcast database accessed by
Magnolia Broadcast Monitoring Service, Inc. Include all available local markets, cable
networks, national networks, and radio. Notifications will contain date, station, time, city, and
keyword(s) in context, additional information will be provided where available such as,
- Nielsen’s Audience Figures
- Calculated Ad Equivalency
- Calculated Publicity Value
- 30-Second Ad Equivalency
- Digital formats, tapes and transcripts additional.

Daily Monitoring Reports:
Includes Broadcast Monitoring, Nielsen’s Audience Figures, Calculated Advertisement Rates, Calculated Publicity Value, and 30-Second Ad Rates, and ordering capability.
Portal Account:
Includes Broadcast Monitoring, Nielsen’s Audience Figures, 30-Second Ad Rates, Calculated Advertisement Rates, Calculated Publicity Value, and 30-Second Ad Rates, ordering capability, and a Login ID /Passwords. The Portal Account is stores all of your daily reports in an online database you can sort, share, report, export, analyze, and chart your data. You can add specific analysis values such as tone, placement, and prominence, and custom fields. So you can have a true sense of the big picture.
Preview Ability:
Includes Broadcast Monitoring, Nielsen’s Audience Figures, Calculated Advertisement Rates, Calculated Publicity Value, and 30-Second Ad Rates, and a 20 second preview of the stories to help you decide about which clips to ordering.
Media Ordering Capability:
The client listed below may order tapes, transcripts, or other media formats from the Broadcast-Alert notifications. Video costs range between $65 and $115 per segment, depending on market, length and format. Longer segments may cost more. CC Transcripts average between $25 and $50, but can cost more depending on length and market.
Analysis
Media Analysis:
Client can elect to receive a customized Newspaper Clipping Analysis
spreadsheet report that measures and calculates customized information to include 6 of the following criteria for
clips published: location, paper circulation, distribution area population, distribution area political district,
ad value, column inches, or other customized criteria.
- Media Analysis fee additional $75 per month, $1.50 per analyzed story
